MILL TOWN – ONE TOWN, MANY STORIES
Mill Town is a multi-year, multi-dimensional project that celebrates the richness of Maynard's people and the beauty of our natural landscapes. For one piece of the project, we are currently collecting oral histories from neighbors who live and work in Maynard to honor our individual experiences and weave together our stories through dance, sound, art and performance.
We are including community interviewing, town history, individual stories, workshops and performances, plus creative exploration in various art forms to showcase the depth and breadth of our amazing small town. We want to celebrate community engagement, diverse groups, immigration, and the myriad of ways we congregate and communicate.
Your story adds to the vibrancy of our community and
we invite you to be a part of this project. AND we need help!
